DKB Reveals How Much He Charges For Shows

Comedian and emcee, Derrick Kobina Bonney, known in showbiz circles as DKB has disclosed the amount he charges for shows.

DBK in an interview with KMJ on why he will not campaign for any political party regardless of the amount involved stated that he makes enough money from shows and was sure of getting any amount he wants once he stays focused.

“If I’m emceeing a wedding, it depends. If you are a friend, we are talking about GHC5,000; people I’m not familiar with, we are talking around GHC10,000. With comedy shows, 15-20 minutes is GHC20,000. It depends on negotiations but that is my premium price. So with all these small small money, by five years, I should comfortably make my own one million dollars,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz.

DKB has performed creditably well as an emcee and comedian as he has received commendations from stakeholders and followers of showbiz. Arguably, he is the most sought emcee and comedian in Ghana.
