Their secret is the SHEEP PLACENTA.

The ingredients that make sheep placenta such a celebrated beauty booster work not only because of the quantity and quality of nutrients they offer, but also thanks to the presence of stem cells, which help promote the regeneration of cells in the body, leading to rejuvenated, healthy skin as well as healthier hair. Sheep placenta activates the release of HGH (Human Growth Hormone), which is the vital hormone to regulate the regeneration of damaged cells as well in repairing the wounded cells. BENEFITS OF SHEEP PLACENTA TO THE SKIN

Erasing wrinkles

Sheep placenta has been shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and reduce skin sagging by adding skin-quenching hydration.
In addition to stem cells, sheep placenta also contains a protein that is believed to help stimulate collagen and elastin production, making skin look firmer and younger.

Improve the look of skin

Even as they help hydrate skin, placenta-based products may also help regulate the production of the natural oils found in skin, reducing the size of pores and helping control acne outbreaks.
The stem cells also enhance the renewal process of skin, speeding cell turnover and reducing the appearance of scars.

Reducing the redness of rosacea

According to a four-week study from AMA Laboratories, products containing sheep placenta reduced the redness and inflammation associated with rosacea by up to 40 percent in almost 80 percent of participants within 28 days.

Ford is not my taste, I prefer Toyota - Mahama

President John Mahama has again reacted to the Ford Expedition car gift saga indicating that “I don’t use Ford, I don’t like American cars, I use Japanese cars, Toyota is my car…”

Meanwhile he has also indicated that his outfit is awaiting an official letter from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and “appropriately, we’d respond to it.”
The president’s latest comment comes on the back of a similar response on Wednesday June 23 at Ashaiman during his ‘Accounting to the People Tour’. Addressing members of the Clergy on

Thursday morning at a breakfast meeting at the Flagstaff House, President Mahama said “recently there’s the issue of a Ford Expedition…, I’ve never been under the illusion that that vehicle was a gift to the state and it’s never been used for my personal comfort. “In any case I don’t use Ford, I don’t like American cars, I use Japanese cars, Toyota is my car but it’s a matter for the Commission on Human Rights. I hear there’s a petition there, appropriately we’d respond to it.”

President Mahama has come under criticism in the last few days over reports of a car gift given to him by a Burkinabe contractor who is purported to have given the vehicle to the president to gain contract favours. The presidency has refuted the allegations but some political parties including the leading New Patriotic Party have asked for a probe into the allegation. Some other institutions have petitioned CHRAJ to investigate the accusation leveled against the president

Mahama acquires pistol with 200 rounds of ammunition

President John Dramani Mahama appears to be jittery about his personal safety, in spite of the heavy security detail he has at his disposal 24 hours a day as he has requested for a pistol to protect himself.

The reason for the acquisition is not yet known but this may lead to the ordinary citizen also applying to own guns, especially when robbery attacks have been the order of the day in recent times, with even policemen dying in the line of duty from the hands of armed robbers.

Mr Mahama is said to have imported a pistol and subsequently applied for licence from the Arms and Ammunition Unit of the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

This is evident in a letter written and signed by the deputy Interior Minister, James Agalga, and addressed to the Director of Police CID dated August 27, 2015.

In that letter headlined, ‘Permission to import and license a pistol,’ – a copy of which has been stumbled upon by DAILY GUIDE – Mr Agalga sought to approve the request by the president to enable him import and use the pistol.

“Permission is hereby granted to H.E John Dramani Mahama to import and license one pistol and two hundred (200) rounds of ammunition,” he stated.

The purpose, he noted, “is to request you to issue H.E John Dramani Mahama with a permit to import and license the items.”

The letter, which was copied to the Commissioner of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at its headquarters, the officer in-charge of the Customs Division (of the GRA) at the Kotoka International Airport, the Director of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), the National Security Coordinator and President Mahama himself, was supposed to expire on December 31, 2015. The reasons for importing a pistol for the president was not stated but the letter indicated that the permit was not transferable.

But Deputy Interior, James Agalga who signed the letter is not forthcoming with information.

When DAILY GUIDE called him yesterday for explanation, he declined to comment.

Instead, he sought to know why the paper was asking him the question as to whether or not he issued the permit.

Not even the explanation that the paper had stumbled on a letter to that effect could suffice as he still asked, “Why are you asking that question? Comment declined.”

Pressed further, he reacted with rage, asking rhetorically, “Do you want to put me under investigation? Do you want to put my office under investigation?” while noting with emphasis, “Whatever responses you want, you can’t get.”

It is not certain whether this state of insecurity compelled some of the security details of the president to use wild dogs during his recent tours in some parts of the country.

During some of those visits, some of the president’s close security guards who were seen in khaki uniforms rather than the regular uniforms used by the police and the military, were seen handling huge dogs, thereby raising questions as to what had necessitated the use of such wild dogs to protect the president.

However, sources told DAILY GUIDE last night that presidents are taken through security drills, including handling of weapons, but had not seen them owning any.

Algeria Blocks Facebook To Stop Exam Cheats

Facebook, Twitter and other social networks have been temporarily blocked in Algeria to try to stop cheats posting high school exam papers online.
Thousands of high school students are retaking part of their baccalaureate exams after details of earlier papers were shared on the internet, according to state media.

An official source quoted by the APS news agency said: “The cut in social media is directly related to the partial baccalaureate exams that are taking place on Sunday.

“This is to protect students from the publication of false papers for these exams.”
The country’s 3G mobile network also appeared to be disrupted on Sunday.

Earlier this month police arrested dozens of people – including officials working in national education offices and printers – to find out how parts of the 2016 high school exams were leaked.

Emeka storms out of interview after questions on failed marriage

Controversial Nollywood actor and acting President of the Actors Guild of Nigerian, AGN, Emeka Ike, on Friday stormed out of an interview when asked about his marriage.

The interview on Television Continental, TVC, took an unexpected turn after the interviewer probed further into the crisis trailing the actor’s marriage.

On the show, Emeka was asked about the current status of his marriage with wife, Suzanne, with whom he has allegedly had a physical altercation and bitter divorce proceedings.

The interviewer said, ”At your home front currently, is everything fine?”

The actor responded, “I love my wife and she is my wife. Everything is fine, I just dropped off my mother-in-law before coming here for this interview.”

However, upon further probing by the presenter who asked if his wife was back with him, the Nollywood ‘bad boy’ in an amplified pitch, said “It is not your business.

“We are working things out and the thing is this, whatever it is, you keep working on things. You keep working things out. You are not going to give up on something you love.

“Now you have a gold chain on your neck and you are at Oshodi bus stop and you are driving and some guy puts his hand through your window to rip off that chain off your neck; the first thing your hand will do impulsively is to protect your neck.

“You need to protect your own so no man can walk into another man’s house and say I want to marry your wife, it’s not possible.”

The interviewer further pressed on, saying it was the business of the press on his marriage issues because he is a public figure but Ike went further to explain why he needed not to answer the question as he stormed out of the interview set.

DAILY POST recalls that the actor’s 12-year-old marriage had packed up after his wife, Suzanne, sought for the dissolution in court over alleged assault from her husband.

It would be recalled as well that just recently, popular singer, Omawumi had stormed out of an interview on Da Chat with HFTv when asked about her smoking and drinking habit.

President Robert Mugabe to Step down.

"I am on my way out," President Robert Mugabe told thousands of children attending celebrations to mark the Day of the African Child.

This is the first time that the President has publicly, clearly spoken about quitting politics instantly inflaming succession fires within his party, as the two main rival factions tear into each other. The factions are led by Mugabe’s wife, Grace who is behind the G-40 grouping fighting VP Emmerson Mnangagwa’s so called Lacoste Team.

Speaking at the celebrations held in Harare, Mugabe said he is on his way out and wants his successors to do a better job.

“Once upon a time, I was like you. But I am not like you anymore. I am on my way out,” he said.

“But when I look over my shoulder, I would want to see bold and courageous men. I want to look behind and say those coming will be better than me,” he was quoted by a local weekly newspaper.

Mugabe — the only leader Zimbabwe has known since independence 36 years ago — has used all manner of tactics to cling to power, including alleged violence against political opponents and electoral fraud.

A few weeks ago, Mugabe (92), declared he wanted to stay on while First Lady Grace Mugabe told the recent Zanu PF million-man-march that “he will rule from the National Heroes Acre”.

Constitutionally, Mugabe can run for one more term, which will end in 2022. But officially opening the 24th Children’s Parliament yesterday, the veteran ruler admitted his days were numbered.

“That is what we always fight to do. To be better than our parents, initially be like them but strive to be better.”

Meanwhile, children who spoke at the occasion painted horrifying images of what they go through in their daily lives, especially their rural counterparts. This was after Youth minister Patrick Zhuwao had told Mugabe that his government’s policies showed a deep commitment to addressing the needs of young people.

“The policies of our government are addressing the various needs of our children,” he said.

“Our youth must be given space to fight for Zimbabwe’s economic independence.” The government was called upon to take the Child Parliament seriously and not treat it like “a Christmas Day”.

“The government should do something to help children in the rural areas,” he said. “Some of them walk for as long as two hours to go to school. Children as young as Grade Zeros. They go to school without shoes in this cold,” lamented a child parliamentarian. A representative of children living with disabilities weighed in.

“The government has to do something to minimise the subjects of those children with disabilities. Focus should be put on practical subjects that can enable children who are disabled to become innovative because nobody is willing to employ them,” he said. Mugabe admitted that the scourge of rape was getting out of hand, threatening “inhuman treatment” to perpetrators.

“If it does not stop, we will be forced to use inhuman treatment to men who rape. It must stop and stop now,” Mugabe said. Another child lawmaker said grinding poverty was forcing children into early marriages.

Burkinabe contractor who gave Mahama gift pulls out of ₵82m contract tender

The Burkinabe contractor who has confessed to sending a gift to President John Mahama has pulled out of a ₵82million bid to construct a 28-kilometre road.

Roads and Highways Minister Alhaji Inusah Fuseini told Joy FM’s Super Morning Show Thursday that Djibril Kanazoe had expressed disinterest in the contract "some weeks ago".

An investigation by Joy News' Manasseh Azure Awuni spanning three months has revealed that Djibril Kanazoe who is President and Director-General of Groupe Kanazoe gave a Ford Expedition to President Mahama in 2012 after he had won two construction contracts.

One was to build a wall around a piece of land for Ghana's Embassy in Burkina Faso at a cost of $650,000. Another was the Dodo Pepeso-Nkwanta road worth €25.9million.

The investigations further showed that the contractor was being considered another contract to construct the Wa-Hamile road on sole-sourcing basis.

The Roads Minister, Inusah Fuseini, explained to Joy News’ Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure last Friday that the Burkinabe contractor was being considered for the 28-kilometre road project on the Wa-Hamile stretch because of his proximity to the area and his track record.

The minister said it is because of the quality of the road and the fact that Mr. Kanazoe is near the project site.

"Kanazoe did that part of the road, the extension of the road in Burkina Faso right to the border of Hamile. I even did not know at the time I saw the road that Kanazoe was working in Ghana. When I asked, they said 'the contractor is working in Ghana. He is working on the Dodo Pepeso-Nkwanta road. This project he is doing is funded by the Saudi Fund,'" Inusah Fuseini told Manasseh Azure Awuni.

Husband of Gospel Musician Anita Afriyie Arrested

Daniel Kwabena Osei Jnr, husband and producer of Ghanaian gospel musician, Anita Afriyie was arrested on Monday, June 13 for raiding Karmodey Music Shop in Kumasi. Eye witness who were at the shop at the time of his arrest narrated that the “Adehye Mogya” hit maker’s hubby said Robert, a worker at  Karmodey’s Music Shop failed to pay an amount he owed him hence his decision to seize some CDs in his shop.

Detective Ankra from Sofoline Police Station who confirmed the arrest of Dan Kay in an interview with Ray Charles Marfo of Metro FM said police rushed to Karmodey’s Music Shop when they received a call that the producer was damaging his store.

“We had a call from Karmodey on Monday around 3:30pm that someone was damaging his goods at his shop so we rushed there. When we reached there, it was Dan Kay so we arrested him to Sofoline police Station.

When I went back to the shop to access the damage caused, I returned late so we couldn’t grant him bail. The issue was transferred to Suame Police Station on Tuesday so after our investigations, we realised that the root cause was monetary problem between Karmodey’s worker called Robert and Dan Kay about one of Anita Afriyie’s songs. Police asked of the actual figure involved so Commander told them to return on 21st June to know how best the issue can be solved.” Detective Ankra narrated.

He added that Anita Afriyie’s husband has been granted bail. Below is video of Dan Kay in Karmodey’s Music Shop and photos when he was granted bail.

Confusion rocks burial of Mahama's late mother

Less than 24 hours after the death of Madam Abiba Nnaba, mother of President John Dramani Mahama, there is confusion over where to bury the old woman.

The Chief of Busunu, younger brother to Madam Nnaba’s father has refused to allow the deceased to be buried in Bole which is the hometown of President John Mahama’s father E.A Mahama.

The Chief is currently in a meeting with a delegation from President Mahama father’s family led by the DCE for Damongo.

He insists that because President Mahama’s father divorced Madam Nnaba along the line, it will be improper to allow the former’s family to bury Madam Nnaba in Bole, as against Busunu which is the latter’s hometown.

Kasapa FM’s Northern Regional Correspondent, Illiasu who’s currently at Busunu monitoring the meeting reported that several people are grieving over Madam Nnaba’s death, with sympathizers gathering at the family home.

He added that there’s presence of police and Military officers to ensure a peaceful deliberation.

Madam Abiba Nnaba passed on Tuesday. She is survived by six children including the President.

The family of Abiba Nnaba at Busunu  in the Northern region is yet to be officially notified as tradition demands.

Her body will be flown to Busunu from Accra today for burial in accordance with Islamic tradition.

Citi News sources within the Ghana Military High Command say they are on a manhunt for one of their officers who is suspected to have links with terrorist group ISIS.

The Officer, Bawa Abdul Rahman, vanished into thin air after his commanders invited him for questioning and further investigations.

According to reports within the Military, Private Bawa Abdul Rahman in dramatic fashion jumped out of the vehicle which was sending him to his bosses for the military inquisition.

Currently, Citi News understands the Military high command is on his heels before he attempts to leave the jurisdiction. 26 -year old Bawa Abdul Rahman is 1.7 meters tall.

It is unclear yet how long he had been in touch with ISIS or whether he has already been recruited.

I won’t react to little boys and girls attributing me to quotes – Mugabe

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has said he is unperturbed by some funny quotes attributed to him, and making rounds on social media platforms, particularly in Ghana.

The veteran politician has recently become the butt of jokes in the West African country as Whatsapp platforms are awash with facetious assertions purportedly coming from him. The nonagenarian has stressed he will not react to those hilarious comments because he is above that.

Among the popular flippant quotes circulating on Whatsapp platforms include:

“If Ghanaians were smart, they would have moved the Akosombo Dam to Circle,” Mugabe, live on Peace FM.

“Even Satan was not gay, he chose to approach naked Eve instead of naked Adam,” Mugabe.

“And to those of you who do not actually go to church but watch it on TV, you will not actually go to Heaven, but you will be allowed to watch it on TV! – Robert Mugabe

“Simbox fraud two years… goat thief seven years… whatever you want to do in life go to school first,” Robert Mugabe 2016.

The Zimbawean High commissioner to Ghana Mrs. Pavelyn Tenclai Musaka said her 92-year-old president is aware of the fake quotes, but will not respond to those trivial pronouncements.

“I don’t get worried,” Musaka told Accra-based Joy FM. “What actually strikes me is that I get surprised this is actually coming from African journalists. As far as I’m concerned if Africans don’t respect another African head of state, I don’t know who else will respect him.”

She opined: “I will engage the Ghanaian and African media to start respecting their own. Charity begins at home. The leaders in this job are the media and they can correct it.”

Musaka pointed out that Africa’s longest serving president will not “react to little boys and girls” because he is a “statesman.”

However, she mentioned the ZANU–PF leader “is not offended” because he is “above that… He is there to fight giants like the Tony Blairs of this world and not those little boys and girls.”

Kumasi Polytechnic outdoors first of its kind electric car

As technology and innovations continue to soar in other parts of the world, Africa has comparatively been unable to penetrate into the mainstream technological and innovation world.

In a bid to achieve the long awaited dream of the over fifty countries around the continent, one of Ghana’s premier polytechnics Kumasi Polytechnic has paved the way as it has assembled the first of its kind electric car.

Though countries including South Africa, Nigeria and Uganda among others have already stepped into the production of electric vehicles, the innovation of Kumasi Polytechnic has led scores of industry players talking.

Rector of the institution, Professor Nicholas Nsowah Nuamah in an exclusive interview with Kapital News said as Africa is widely known to be the heartbeat of the world, it was incumbent on technical as well as technological institutions across the continent to actualize their creative abilities, thereby participating broadly in the manufacturing of first class goods and products.

Jose Mourinho to hold talks with Ryan Giggs in bid to keep Manchester United legend at Old Trafford

Jose Mourinho to hold talks with Ryan Giggs in bid to keep Manchester United legend at Old Trafford

Giggs is understood to be set on leaving after Louis van Gaal's departure with United ready to offer him a reduced role under the new set-up

Jose Mourinho is set to hold talks with Ryan Giggs in a bid to keep him at Manchester United.

Giggs was assistant manager under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford with the Dutchman finally axed on Monday evening.

United have made Giggs an offer to stay at the club in a 'downgraded' role and it is our understanding he is set on leaving United.

But Mourinho is ready to make a last-ditch attempt to keep Giggs at the club, reports the Manchester Evening News.

It is reported Brian Kidd has been earmarked as a shock replacement for Giggs. City coach Kidd, who scored in United's 1968 European Cup final win on his 19th birthday, played for the club for seven years before he returned as a community coach in the late 1980s.

City insist Kidd is 'going nowhere' but the prospect of returning to the club he served impeccably as player and coach could tempt the 66-year-old back to United.

Sir Alex Ferguson promoted Kidd to assistant manager in 1991, and the duo presided over four Premier League title wins, two FA Cup triumphs and a League Cup win.

Their relationship, however, soured after Kidd left Ferguson to manage Blackburn in 1998. Ferguson severely criticised Kidd in his autobiography over his preference to sign John Hartson over Dwight Yorke, and criticised the Manchester-born coach as 'insecure'.

Kidd was upset by Ferguson's comments and his association with United was tainted in the eyes of supporters when he was confirmed as Leeds' head coach on the eve of United's February 2001 trip to Elland Road. Kidd has spent the last seven years at City and is expected to be a part of Pep Guardiola's coaching staff.

Giggs left United's Carrington training ground early on Monday morning and headed to his restaurant George's in Worsley, where he was described as 'having a face like thunder'.

One source claimed Giggs had said his goodbyes to groundsmen at United's training complex before he left the premises, however the club did not comment on his future in the statement announcing Van Gaal's departure.

Reggae and Dancehall artiste Samini, has revealed that he continues to receive overtures by female fans for sex.

“Well sometimes certain people fall for the vibes,” he said.

According to him, the lyrics of his songs sometimes move the female fans triggering them to demand more than a mere fan-artiste relationship.

“Well sometimes because of what you preach in your music or stories you talk about; certain people find you nailing the problems on the head. They tend to live what you are saying and see you as one who can solve the problem they have,” he told Naa Klordey on the Ultimate Brunch.

He, however, cautioned upcoming artistes to be careful in such circumstances indicating that it sometimes become too personal advising them to devise ways in dealing with the situation in extreme cases.

“You have to be careful how to relate with them in an artiste-fan relationship. Once a while we try to run away from them but there are certain people who will make more than a fan,” he added.

But this was a show defined by moments and performances, both celebratory and somber, throughout the evening.

Britney Spears kicked off proceedings with a medley of her hits that began with “Work Bitch,” “Womanizer” and “I Love Rock and Roll” — delivered while gyrating on a giant guitar — and culminated with “Toxic,” showcasing both her well-known hits (“I’m a Slave 4 U” was also included) and some deeper cuts.

And Madonna’s tribute to Prince put an exclamation point on the evening — she began singing “Nothing Compares 2 U” on a purple throne and brought out Stevie Wonder to assist her on a powerful rendition of “Purple Rain” that had Rihanna dabbing and The Weeknd singing along.

Prince was on everybody’s mind from the beginning — The Weeknd dedicated his Top Hot 100 Artist victory to the late icon early in the show — but there were plenty of highlights in the build-up to Madge’s tribute.

Fifth Harmony got sensual while performing “Work From Home” with Ty Dolla $ign, while Meghan Trainor strolled through the crowd to her latest single “No.” And Pink delivered the world television debut of her latest single “Just Like Fire,” a cut from the Alice Through the Looking Glass soundtrack, by reprising her high-flying awards show routine on a harness above the crowd; toward the end, she rose above the stage sitting on the hands of a giant clock that erupted into flames.

Speaking of fantastic singers, the elegant Celine Dion looked resplendent and sounded even better when powering through “The Show Must Go On” in front of a full orchestra, imparting as much meaning as possible into every word while the musicians behind her — including Lindsey Stirling on violin — did the same.

Seal, who introduced her, called her performance “exquisite” before bringing out her son to deliver the Icon Award to his mother, which brought her to tears. It was the most emotional moment in a night that promised — and delivered — plenty of them.

Despite not being there, Adele still made an impact, winning five awards and using the opportunity to debut her new music video, for “Send My Love (To Your New Lover).”

And though the awards broadcast featured plenty of fireworks — Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and the Go-Go’s all delivered eye-catching performances — there were a lot of low key, stripped down renditions as well from the likes of Lukas Graham (“7 Years”),Shawn Mendes (“Stitches”) and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani (“Go Ahead and Break My Heart”).

Beyonce, Rihanna no match for me — Wiyaala

She delivers on almost any stage she mounts and singer Wiyaala proudly says she has no competitor when it comes to stage performance.

“I have no contender in Ghana and most people who have had the opportunity to watch my performances can attest to it.

“My energy comes from the rehearsals I do on daily basis,” she told Showbiz in an interview after her performance at Okyeame Kwame’s “Music and Wheels” show held at 233 Grill and Bar last Friday.

According to the Rock Ma Body hitmaker, it is the internationally-acclaimed musicians she wants to compete with and not her colleagues in Ghana.

Asked whether she could compete with the likes of Rihanna and BeyoncĂ©, the winner of last year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Best Female Vocal Artiste of the Year, said not even Rihanna and BeyoncĂ© can match up her energy and craft on stage.
“I am not blowing my own horn but trust me, I have watched performances by Rihanna and BeyoncĂ© and I believe I can do better than them.

“They just have big platforms. I know when I also get a big platform like theirs, I can do much better than them,” she said confidently.

Talking about her performances, Wiyaala, who has performed at events such as Fashion Icon Awards, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, African Fashion Show and Rocky Dawuni's Homecoming Concert, said she is always on top of her game because she rehearses almost everyday.

She explained that she was best at what she does because she always left her fans screaming for more anytime she was done with her performances.

“When people spend their hard-earned money to attend a show, I need to put up my best and I believe that has also kept me going. I don’t want a situation where people will regret attending a show after my performance,” she added.
Known for songs such as Leno, Make Me Dance, Go Go Black Stars, Tinambanyi, Peace, Africa, Siiko, Bunsun and You Got The Power, Wiyaala told her fans to watch out for great music from her this year.

Born Noella Wiyaala in the Upper West regional capital, Wa, but raised in Tumu, she attended Takoradi Polytechnic where she studied Art and Design.

She first came to public attention in 2011 when she won two Golden Moments awards at TV reality show, Stars of the Future.
The following year, she won the Vodafone Icons Mixed Edition contest, singing Tina Turna’s hit song, Simply the Best, as a member of the Black N Peach band.

Wiyaala, a brand ambassador for Pepsi in West Africa, alongside Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage, left Black N Peach band in April 2013 to pursue a solo career with Djimba World Records.

Opoku Ware SHS student stabbed to death

An eighteen-year-old Senior High School student of Opoku Ware Senior High School in the Ashanti Region was yesterday stabbed to death following a confrontation between two men over a lover.

The deceased, identified as Isaac Kwesi Amponsah, according to an eyewitness account, was trying to separate the two men who were fighting when one of them stabbed him in the process.

The two men, identified as Justice Abban and Frank Kwabena, aka Taller, 43, were fighting over a woman at Olebu in the Ga West Municipality.

Suspect Justice Abban, who allegedly pulled the knife to stab the schoolboy, according to the eyewitness account, was severely beaten by some neighbours before he was handed over to the police.

He is currently receiving treatment at the Police Hospital under heavy security.

The eyewitness indicated that the incident occurred around 7:30am yesterday morning.

The woman the two were allegedly fighting over is currently at large and is yet to be identified.

According to DAILY GUIDE’s source, the woman was in a relationship with Justice Abban for some years and they had a child.

Early this year, the woman allegedly travelled to her hometown and upon her return, broke up with Justice and decided to move in with suspect Frank Kwabena Owusu, her new lover.

This did not go down well with suspect Abban and so he often fought Frank over the issue.

Around 7am yesterday, suspect Justice Abban, armed with a knife, asked two of his friends—Samuel Offei aka Okotor, 42, and Solomon Agyeman, 43—to escort him to the house of Frank Owusu to attack him.

On arrival at suspect Frank’s house, the witness said, Frank was not in the house but he was called back to the house by suspect Abban.

Fight

When Frank returned, suspect Abban immediately picked a fight with him and so some neighbours, including Amponsah, a friend to Frank who lived with the mother behind Frank’s house, upon hearing the noise, came to separate the two rivals.

In the course of the separation, suspect Abban pulled the knife and stabbed Isaac Amponsah in the neck.

The witness said Isaac Amponsah, after the attack, attempted to run away from the scene but suspect Abban pursued him and stabbed him again in the middle of the street.

The victim then fell on the ground and died on the spot.

After committing the act, suspect Abban attempted to run away but residents chased and apprehended him. They then subjected him to severe beatings before handing him over to the police.

Later, personnel of the Police Crime Scene and the Amasaman District Police Command visited the scene to pick up the body of Isaac Amponsah to the Police Hospital morgue for preservation.

Arrest

The Amasaman District Crime Officer, DSP Happy Addai, when contacted, said police investigations led to the arrest of suspect Samuel Offei (Abban’s friend) and Frank Owusu, one of the rivals, to assist them to investigate the matter.

Concerning the woman, the Amasaman District Police Crime Officer said she was also on the run and had been declared wanted.

The matter is still under investigation.

Man Dies During Sex With Married Woman

IT was a show of shame when a married Ntabazinduna man was found dead in the matrimonial bed of another villager.

His adulterous girlfriend was then forced to guard the corpse the whole night as she feared alerting other villagers about what had transpired at her homestead.

However, she was left with no choice the following day except to let the cat out of the bag as she could not keep the corpse in her bedroom for long. The incident has since become the talk of the village.

“Mrs Mbele and Dlamini’s relationship had been unconfirmed rumours. Mr Mbele who works in Bulawayo got to hear about the news ans we suspect he fenced his wife resulting in Dlamini’s death, said a village source.

The source revealed events before the untimely death.

“Dlamini left his home pretending to be going to Bulawayo, but he proceeded to Mrs Mbele’s homestead where he spent a night. It seems he died during se_x as he was found dead on the couple’s bed the following day.”

It is said Mrs Mbele told neighbours about the incident in the morning and surprisingly Dlamini had died in her bed but raising a lot of unanswered questions.

“The woman was asked how the married man had got to her bedroom and she claimed he had come in the morning asking her to charge his phone,”said the source.

It is suspected that the now deceased was a victim of ulunyoka as he had a swollen stomach.

“The matter was reported to police and Dlamini’s wife was told the sad news. Dlamini’s body was ferried to hospital for post-mortem.

“He was buried on Sunday at his homestead and surprisingly, Mrs Mbele didn’t attend the burial. Only her husband did,” said the source.

Efforts to get a comment from Matabeleland North acting police spokesperson Sergeant Namativai Mashona were fruitless as he as said to be on leave.

When Mrs Mbele, the woman at the centre of the storm, was contacted for comment, she refused to say anything pertaining to the matter.

15 ways to guarantee you won't become a millionaire

We've cued you in on steps to take to get rich — but which choices will stunt your path to wealth?

Here, we rounded up habits, beliefs, and traits that self-made millionaires and authors have identified as inhibiting if you want to build wealth.

As always, no promises of future riches or predictions of the future, but steering clear of these 15 things can't hurt:

1. Buying things you can't afford

Living above your means is a surefire road to financial stress — and even if you start earning more or get a hefty raise, don't use that as justification to give yourself a lifestyle raise.

"I didn't buy my first luxury watch or car until my businesses and investments were producing multiple secure flows of income," writes self-made millionaire Grant Cardone at Entrepreneur. "I was still driving a Toyota Camry when I had become a millionaire. Be known for your work ethic, not the trinkets that you buy."

2. Thinking you don't deserve to be rich

"The average person believes being rich is a privilege awarded only to lucky people," self-made millionaire Steve Siebold writes at Business Insider. "The truth is, in a capitalist country, you have every right to be rich if you're willing to create massive value for others."

Start asking yourself, "Why not me?" he encourages. Next, start thinking big. Rich people set their expectations high. Why not $1 million?

3. Relying on one stream of income

"Self-made millionaires do not rely on one singular source of income," Thomas C. Corley, who spent five years studying rich people, writes in "Change Your Habits, Change Your Life."

"They develop multiple streams. Three seemed to be the magic number in my study ... Sixty-five percent had at least three streams of income that they created prior to making their first million dollars."

Examples of these additional streams are real-estate rentals, stock market investments, and part-ownership in a side business.

4. Being content with what you already know

The wealthiest, most successful people are constantly exercising their brains and looking for ways to continue learning long after college or their formal education is over.

This choice is entirely up to you, emphasizes self-made millionaire Daniel Ally at Entrepreneur: "Often, people depend on their employers to buy them books, send them to seminars, or provide them with coaching. However, you must take your education into your own hands if you want to prosper. Invest in yourself."

5. Hanging out with the wrong crowd

"Einstein said that consciousness is contagious," Siebold writes. "That doesn't mean dump your friends because of their low net worth. But if you want to become rich, you need to start associating with other rich people."

Think of it this way: "If you wanted to become fit, you would hang around fit people at the gym. If you were interested in religion, you would associate more with people at church," he explains. "So if you want to become wealthy, get around other wealthy people and learn from them."

Doctors in China remove 16ft tapeworm from man who loves to eat raw meat

Tapeworms in humans aren’t an odd sight, unless of course they measure in at 16ft. 45-year-old Chen from Guangxi, south China who loves to eat raw beef and fish complained of stomach problems to doctors.

Tests were carried out by his city’s Gastroenterology department which revealed the tapeworm and even then, it took five days to extract.

Doctors determined the parasite had come from contaminated raw food and studied it to discover how it grew so long in its host. Tapeworms – or taenia saginata as they are known scientifically – has eggs which hatch in cattle and are carried through the body by the animal’s circulatory system. The egges hatch three months after human consumption and develop into adults in the small intestine which according to scientists have a life expectancy of 60years. To think someone could carry it around almost all their life.

Doctors have advised that meat and fish fans should be wary when eating unregulated and under cooked-produce – and that if raw beef is consumed, it should be chilled well beforehand.

Swiss billionaire gives birth to twins at age 53

A Swiss billionaire businesswoman has given birth to twin girls at the age of 53, her spokeswoman has said.

Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, ranked the 171st richest person in the world and the 21st most powerful woman in Europe, the Middle East and Asia by Forbes and Fortune magazines, is the majority owner and chairwoman of the £120bn international trading house Louis Dreyfus Commodities. She also owns the French first-division football club Olympique de Marseille.

“Mother and babies are doing well,” the press office of the 165-year-old family firm announced, confirming weekend rumours in the Swiss press. The company said in December that Louis-Dreyfus intended to take “a brief pause” after the births but would return to work full-time at the end of April.

The Russian-born businesswoman, who will be 54 in June, has three sons, including 18-year-old twins, from her marriage to her late husband, Robert Louis-Dreyfus, from whom she inherited the French commodities house after his death from leukaemia in 2009.

The babies’ father was reported by Swiss media to be Philipp Hildebrand, a former governor of the Swiss central bank until he resigned his post in 2012 following an insider currency trading scandal involving his ex-wife, Kashya, a former trader.

Hildebrand has since become vice president of the US financial services giant BlackRock, the world’s largest asset management firm, with more than $4,500bn under management.

Louis Dreyfus Commodities, which has offices or subsidiaries in more than 90 countries, trades in everything from grains, oils, coffee, cotton, fruit juices, sugar and dairy products to metals, marine transport and fertilisers.

Held by a trust based in Amsterdam, the company is widely thought to be the largest cotton and rice trader and second-largest sugar trader in the world. Along with Archer Daniels Midland, Bunge and Cargill, it makes up the so-called “ABCD” quartet of companies that control most of the world’s agricultural commodities trading.

Margarita Louis-Dreyfus, who sold circuit-board components for a living until she met her late husband, has shaken up the venerable company since assuming control, reshuffling top management and raising her majority stake to around 81% – making her worth $7.1bn, according to Forbes.

Robert Louis-Dreyfus was a cousin of the former Louis Dreyfus chief executive, GĂ©rard Louis-Dreyfus, the father of US actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who is best known for her work in the TV series Seinfeld and Veep.
