NPP Girl Attacked

Some few days after the gruesome murder of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, at his residence at Shiashie in Accra, another barbaric incident nearly happened on Saturday when the parliamentary candidate for Cape Coast North, Barbara Asher Ayisi, was also attacked at her residence at Pedu Estate in Cape Coast.

The unfortunate incident happened around 10am when an assailant believed to be in his early 30s, by name Bismark Yao, allegedly armed with a knife and a hammer, invaded her residence at a time she was having a meeting with the constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) towards a programme planned for that evening at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

Man stabs girlfriend to death for denying him sex on Val's Day

A 30-year-old man stabbed his girlfriend to death on Valentine’s Day for refusing him sex.

The incident happened at Suminakese in the Eastern Region.

Ebenezer Yaw Darko, also known as ‘Power’, according to information gathered by ClassFMonline.com, went into a fit of rage after his girlfriend, Yaa Nimakoa, 26, on whom he spent GHS500 on Valentine’s Day, refused him sex to climax the day for lovers.

Yaw Darko, a small-scale miner, is on the run, according to local reporter Anafena Neku, who confirmed the incident to ClassFMonline.com.

The incident has been reported to the Suminakese Police Command, which has opened investigations into the matter.

According to Anafena Neku, the deceased, who did not die immediately after the stabbing, told journalists her boyfriend, whom she has been dating for five years, attempted raping her after returning home around 10pm after an outing.

The enraged boyfriend then grabbed a knife and stabbed the petty trader during the struggle.

The victim died as she was being rushed to the hospital. Anafena Neku told ClassFMonline.com that the victim’s parents said they had always been against the relationship because Yaw Darko was mentally unstable sometimes.

He said they attempted preventing their daughter from going out with the suspect on Valentine’s Day but she went with him anyway.

Woman Arested for Alleged Sim Box Fraud

A 30-year-old woman has been arrested for alleged SIM Box fraud committed in her rented apartment at Aplaku, near Kasoa in the Central Region.

By her operations, the suspect, identified as Comfort Gbedebo, a student and mother of one, is said to have denied the state revenue of $13,824 on a daily basis.

Afro-pop musician, Becca, was all smiles on Friday when highlife sensation, Bisa Kdei, surprised her with flowers and a cake.

The pretty songstress was a guest on GhToday on GhOneTV to talk about her career and upcoming projects when Kdei called into the program with a Valentine message.

Minutes after the call ended, some people walked on set with flowers and cakes from Kdei for Becca, livefmonline.com reported.

Kdei’s gesture is likely to deepen the perception that he and Becca are in a romantic relationship.

His open demonstration of affection for Becca comes barely a week after she denied being in a relationship with the ‘Mansa’ singer.

Woman In Court For Pouring Acid On Boyfriend

 
Esther Enyonam Pakyi, who some time last year poured acid on her boyfriend, Eric Ohemeng, leading to a blind right eye,   has been remanded in police custody.

Enyonam has been charged with attempted murder before the Adjabeng Court 2, presided over by Mr James Kojo Bota.
Presenting the facts of the case to the court, Chief Inspector Gregory Yeboah said Ohemeng was a student at GIMPA while Enyonam was currently unemployed and resided at Madina.
